丹羽が2005年３月９日のサンキューアートの日のために企画した写真展示プロジェクト。多摩川河川敷に段ボール小屋を作り、内部に「ヤンキー養鶏場」の記録写真を数十枚展示した。

Make cardboard house on the Tama river side to put some document photograph of “Yankee Chicken Farm”. This project was lasted only one-day event.

「Transform puddle A to puddle B / 水たまりAを水たまりBに移しかえる」
Performance　2003−2007 / still/video

人種、文化、経済など日本とは全く異なる場所で感じる違和感を、どの土地にもある「水たまり」を移動する行為によって乗り越えようとするパフォーマンス。丹羽の代表作の一つであり、≪NIPAFアジア中欧パフォーマンスアートの出会い≫（2003年）のセルビア・モンテネグロ会場で発表し、その後、イギリス、ドイツ、アメリカ、日本でも演じた。 

Suck the puddle water, spit out to another puddle in the street. This project has performed around the world where Niwa visit. It’s challenge that Niwa perform non-sense action in the street,also think about what is our essential activity “drinking water” in this highly capitalistic society. Niwa explore hoe/what makes highly informational society.

「Houses burn easily / 家は燃えやすい」
Performance 2003-2005 / still/video

丹羽が全裸で「靴を貸してください」と観客に訴え、靴を借りるごとに一歩ずつ進むパフォーマンス。実家が火事になって逃げた体験を元にしている。観客は、最初どのように反応して良いか戸惑うが、靴を貸して参加することを通じて、自分が同じ境遇に陥った時、あるいは他人のそうした場面に遭遇した時に「自分ならどうするか」を考えさせられる。

「Endure weight of you / 私はあなたの何をしっているだろうか」

作家が初対面の人たちにお腹の上に人に乗ってもらってその重さを知るとともに、自分がその重さに耐えるパフォーマンスを行うアーティストであることを参加者に知ってもらう作品。コミュニケーションには様々な形があるが、このような形のコミュニケーションもまた、文化や人種、言語の壁を越えて「知り合うこと」に他ならない。

「Catrina! / カトリーナ!」
Performance 2005 / still/video

カトリーナは2005年８月にアメリカ南東部を襲った大型ハリケーン。この出来事を単に日本では実感しづらい遠い所で起きた出来事として片付けるのでなく、アメリカで被害に苦しむ人々の心に近づき、体感しようと試みた作品。
